What We Do at the BGCRR
Founded in 2001, the Boys & Girls Club of the Rappahannock Region (BGCRR) is part of a nationwide movement of community-based, autonomous organizations and Boys & Girls Clubs of America, working to help youth of all backgrounds develop the qualities needed
to become responsible citizens and leaders.
Our Mission
The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Rappahannock Region is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
Our Goals
Our goal at BGCRR is to provide:

a safe place for our members to learn and grow,

an environment where members and their families are able to develop ongoing relationships with caring professionals,

life-enhancing programs and character development experiences, and

most of all opportunities and hope.
Our programs have demonstrated success at a national level and are designed to drive positive outcomes for youth while reinforcing necessary life skills. Along with several other specialized initiatives, we offer daily access to a broad range of programs in five core program areas:
